Lens Grinding
This photo shows one of the 10 inch lens
blanks being ground to make one of the lenses for the
corrector assembly. The grinding machine
was made by Mike Spooner, the maker of the lenses and primary mirror for the
telescope.
This photo was taken by Mike in his shop in Page, Arizona.
