Lurie-Houghton Telescope Corrector Cell Frame
This is the main frame for the corrector lens cell assembly. It is the part
colored in red in the 3D
rendering that can be seen in my
design article on the telescope.
The two lenses that form the corrector will
be installed into the lens cell when they are completed. Cullen Bennett of
Arizona machined this for me in his home based machine shop. This photo was
taken 4 February 2000 with an Olympus D-600L digital camera.
