Pam and I went out for a night of observing with my telescope in a location with very dark skies in western Arizona. We ended up with a fair amount of clouds but were able to see objects through holes in the clouds. Not long after arriving at the site we were treated to one of Arizona's exceptional sunsets as you can see in this photograph.
