I was looking at a map when I was researching what to see in Washington, DC and noticed a small triangle with the name Einstein next to it. I knew immediately that I had to see it without checking online to see what it looked like. I wanted to be surprised. I later found out from a tour guide that the Einstein monument is the most popular monument in the DC area because it's the only one that people are allowed to climb on. At Einstein's feet is a star chart with stars down to the sixth magnitude along with the planets and some other deep sky objects. The grid lines show coordinates on the sky.
