This photo was taken from a helicopter ride over the big island of Hawaii in May 1992. I used an Olympus OM-3 camera with a Zuiko (Olympus) 28mm f/2.8 lens. These waterfalls are at the end of a box canyon and are 2300 feet in height. The helicopter operator had the helicopter spinning around and going up and down most of the height of the end this canyon as I photographed. I scanned the image with a Nikon Coolscan LS-10 and used Adobe Photoshop to apply mild color correction and sharpening. Photograph by Rick Scott.
