I'll never tire of the beauty of Joshua Tree National Park in southern California. I have camped there many times while I lived in both California and Arizona. I've heard the howling of packs of coyotes and total silence, climbed the rocks there, and explored the ruins left behind by the old ranchers and miners. It was a National Monument when I first started to visit the park. There is much to see here, so take the time to enjoy it; don't rush through it.
