I was on my way to Zion National Park when I drove over this wash. The view was unusual because within the confines of the wash, there was this contrast of the very black burnt trees and the bright green bushes surrounding them. There was no evidence that the fire extended outside of the wash. The burnt trees could be seen following the bends of the wash far into the distance.
