Bisti Wilderness is a great place where the landscape seems to be from another planet. It is full of fantastic shapes in rock, mud, and petrified wood. Some shapes seem similar and can be given names, while others defy that. Hiking is required to see what Bisti has to offer, but it's well worth the effort. My wife and I hiked just under 11 miles (17.7 km) in two days while taking these photographs and there is so much more to see there.
Note: You can see a 3D version (anaglyph) of one of the Cracked Eggs photographs when you put your mouse pointer over it.
