Primary Mirror Mount Yoke
This yoke is the piece of metal that the primary
mirror will be glued to. In the corners are the holes for the
primary collimation bolts. The collimation bolt
setup is a push-pull type that has lock bolts next to the collimation adjusting
bolts. By using this setup, the telescope should hold collimation very well,
even with transport in a car. After I've used the scope for a while, I'll know
for sure. The hole in the middle is for some weight reduction and for possible
future use as a ventilation port if I decide to use a fan to blow air on the
back side of the primary mirror.
