This photo was taken near the Gila River Casino near Chandler, Az during the summer monsoon season of 1995. I used an Olympus OM-3 camera with a Zuiko (Olympus) 21mm f/2 lens set at f/11. This was a single flash of lightning (no multiple exposures). I scanned the image with a Nikon Coolscan LS-10 and used Adobe Photoshop to remove some unsightly power lines and apply some sharpening.
