This photograph is a good example of how Mirror Lake in Yosemite National Park got its name. The lake is in Tenya canyon below Half Dome and will someday become another meadow of Yosemite. The surface of the lake tends to be very still in the morning, so that's usually the best time to get a photograph like this one. I used my Wista DX Cherry 4x5 camera to take this photograph.
