My family was exploring the Jemez Mountains area of New Mexico when we learned about Jemez Falls from a small information booth in the town of White Rock. The next day we drove up along the Jemez River from the south in a loop drive from Santa Fe and stopped at the Jemez Falls Campground to hike to the waterfall. The hike was on a good trail in a very nice forest setting to an overlook where I took this photograph.
