Lurie-Houghton Telescope Corrector Frame with Spacer

PHOTO: Corrector Cell Frame
This is part of the cell that will hold the corrector lens along with the clamp ring. It is made from the two parts colored in red (frame) and pink (spacer) in the 3D rendering that can be seen in my design article on the telescope. The part of this assembly with the flange can be seen in this photo. Cullen Bennett of Arizona machined this for me in his home based machine shop. This photo was taken 25 February 2000 with an Olympus D-600L digital camera.
